This the brand new e-blog for Missourians to Abolish the Death Penalty. MADP is a coalition of chapters and individuals working to end capital punishment in Missouri. This blog will hopefully be one more means of spreading our message through education and perhaps even debate.

My name is Darryl Burton. I was exonerated after serving 24 years of wrongful conviction in the state of MO. I was released August 2008. As a person who could have received the death penalty. I pray the citizens of this state and the world continue to fight against the death penalty. I faced life and death for the charge of capital murder when I was convicted. I was innocent the whole time. If they execute someone who is innocent. How will the state justify that?
